John Schneider is a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, located in Thousand Oaks, California. He graduated in 1979 and soon after made the decision to attend the University of Southern California, better known as USC. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, graduating in 1983 with Cum Laude honors. He enrolled at USC's School of Medicine and obtained his Medical Degree in 1987. He would move into the practice of medicine after this, but has remained active in academia as well, being published in numerous scholarly journals.

Dr. John Schneider is the owner of Northern Rockies Neuro-Spine, a company he founded in June of 2005. The company has offices in Sheridan, Powell, and Cody, Wyoming. They also have clinical offices in Billings, Montana. Dr. John Schneider is more than just a surgeon and medical doctor, of course, he is also a loving husband and father. Dr. John Schneider is happy to help his children with Boy Scouts of America, as he was once an Eagle Scout himself. He previously served as a Council Chief with the Order of the Arrow and today is happy to serve as a Camp Counselor and Advisor.
